COACH DIGGS

Raised in a sport-centric family, my early passion for athletics was inevitable. Basketball stole my heart among all, leading me to shine in various leagues and teams. My journey began at Grace Brethren Christian School, highlighted by an ESPN Rise feature as a freshman. A pivotal move to John F Kennedy High School under Coach Diallo Nelson's mentorship profoundly shaped my coaching ethos. Collegiately, I played for Southern Maryland College, followed by a stint in a semi-pro league, enriched by WNBA icon Lisa Willis's guidance.

Transitioning from player to coach, my roots circled back to Takoma Park Sports camp, evolving a passion for coaching parallel to my love for the game. With over a decade of coaching experience, I embraced the role of Boys Varsity Head Coach at Washington Leadership Academy Public Charter School. Here, I spearheaded a transformative journey, leading the team to the PCSAA playoffs and nurturing top talents, including the #1 scorer in Washington, DC.

Embodying John Wooden's wisdom, my coaching philosophy is anchored in the belief of reaching one's highest potential. I'm committed to fostering your children's growth, on and off the court, guiding them towards their best selves.
